Mangrove

At Grande Anse in Deshaies, the Rivière Mitan flows into a brackish lagoon fringed by mangroves, separated from the sea by a strip of sand. Iguanas, crabs and around ten bird species find shelter here.

This mangrove is traditionally explored by kayak or paddleboard locally in Deshaies — a point of interest close to Marina de Deshaies, where Tropical Vibes boats depart.
